HTBF-81 Series Triple Frequency Generator Product Features
The triple frequency power generator adopts a three-core five-column structure, selecting the working magnetic flux density of the iron core above the saturation magnetic density, so that the vector sum of the fundamental electromotive force (positive sequence vector) in the secondary winding connected in an open triangle is zero, and the two ends of the open triangle should output the same-phase 150Hz third harmonic (zero sequence).
Principle
The triple frequency power generator utilizes the saturation characteristics of the magnetic circuit to extract the third harmonic voltage with the largest component among harmonics as the power source of the generator, conducting frequency doubling and voltage doubling tests on inter-turn, inter-section, and inter-layer of inductive coil electrical products; to assess the insulation strength and withstand voltage level of the coil.

What is an Induced Withstand Voltage Tester?
The induced withstand voltage test refers to applying a voltage to the specified winding of the transformer, which is not less than 2 times the rated supply voltage, with a frequency not less than 2 times the minimum rated frequency; it is required that during the specified duration of this voltage, the winding shows no signs of overheating, arcing, breakdown, or damage; it is also required that the no-load current and power consumption under rated working power supply before and after the induced withstand voltage test show no significant changes. According to national test standards, the induced test voltage for power transformers and voltage transformers is roughly 2-3 times the maximum working phase voltage. As is well known, when a transformer operates at rated frequency and rated voltage, the iron core is close to saturation. If a test voltage higher than the rated voltage is applied to the winding of the tested transformer using power frequency, the no-load excitation current will increase sharply to an unacceptable level. The induced withstand voltage test for transformers and instrument transformers is an important test to verify whether the product meets national standards.
