In the production process of semi-finished and finished power transformers, before new transformers are put into operation, and according to the national grid's preventive test regulations, it is required to regularly test the turns ratio or voltage ratio of operating transformers. Traditional ratio bridges are cumbersome to operate, not intuitive to read, and require necessary conversions, with test results only providing the ratio value for one phase.JY-III Ratio and Vector Group Tester overcomes the shortcomings of traditional ratio bridge testing. It features a large high-resolution LCD screen, is powered by lithium battery for convenient field use, has Chinese menu prompts, is easy and intuitive to operate, completes three-phase ratio testing in one go, with fast testing speed and high accuracy.

Purpose of Ratio Test
1. Check whether the ratio matches the nameplate value to ensure the required voltage transformation is achieved.
2. Check whether the tap changer indicator position is correct.
3. Check the turns ratio of each winding to determine if there is an inter-turn short circuit in the transformer.
4. Measure the unbalance of the transformation ratio of a three-phase transformer itself.
5. Provide the accuracy of the transformation ratio to determine whether transformers can operate in parallel.
