The DC resistance test of transformer windings is an essential test item after transformer handover, major repair, and tap changer changes. In normal circumstances, using traditional methods (bridge method and voltage drop method) to measure the DC resistance of transformer windings and high-power inductive equipment is a time-consuming and labor-intensive task. To change this situation, shorten measurement time, and reduce the workload of test personnel, our company has developed a DC resistance fast tester (hereinafter referred to as the direct resistance tester). It adopts brand-new power supply technology and has the characteristics of stable performance, rapid measurement, compact size, convenient use, high measurement accuracy, and good data repeatability. It is an ideal device for measuring the DC resistance of transformer windings and high-power inductive equipment.

The panel is shown in the figure below:
The panel layout of the direct resistance tester is shown in the figure above, including printer, liquid crystal display, keyboard, power socket and power switch, as well as wiring terminals and grounding terminal.
Output Section:
The input and output wiring terminals are shown in the figure above. There are 4 binding posts in total, among which the two outer red binding posts are for current output, and the two inner binding posts are for measurement voltage sampling input.

The above figure shows the display control section composed of liquid crystal display and keyboard components. The display is a dot-matrix liquid crystal display screen, used to display operation prompts, measurement results, and indicate the functions of the 4 multi-function keys at the bottom of the display. The "Reset" key on the left can make the instrument return directly to the initial state in case of a system crash or when exiting from the menu. The small hole on the far right is the display contrast adjustment hole. When the display graphics contrast is too deep or too light, affecting reading effect, a small "-" screwdriver can be used for appropriate adjustment.
Print Section
This instrument is provided with a 16-line micro panel printer, with long service life, fast printing speed, easy replacement of printing paper and ribbon, and no other maintenance or upkeep required. After the whole machine is powered on, the indicator light at the lower right corner of the printer lights up, indicating that the printer is in standby state. During or after the test, press the print key according to the display prompts to print out the data.
