Usage Methods and Precautions
1. The instrument must be properly grounded.
2. Connect the power supply, turn on the switch, and the red indicator light will illuminate. At this time, the current generator is ready for operation.
3. Rotate the voltage regulator evenly clockwise, and pay attention to the output current indication on the operation panel until the required high current is reached.
4. During the test, if any abnormal phenomenon is found, immediately cut off the power supply, identify the cause, and then proceed with the test.
5. After the test, the voltage regulator must be returned to zero, cut off the power supply with the air switch, disconnect the working power, and remove the test wiring in the correct order to ensure safety.
Precautions
1. For new installations or after long periods of inactivity, before operation, measure the insulation resistance between coils and between coils and ground using a 1500 megohm meter. Only use when the resistance value is not less than 0.5 megohms.
2. During use, the current generator transformer and the operation panel must be reliably grounded to ensure safety.
3. When in use, increase the current slowly and evenly. When handling, avoid excessive vibration.
4. The contact surface between the voltage regulator and the carbon brush should be kept clean. If necessary, wipe it clean with cotton yarn dipped in 90% alcohol.
5. This equipment should be stored indoors in a clean, ventilated, and dry place.
