Usage Features


Transformer Capacity Characteristic Tester comes with a high-efficiency rechargeable battery, allowing operation without external power; a single charge can continuously measure dozens to hundreds of units. Additionally, it internally generates a three-phase standard sine wave signal (not a simple inverter AC output, ensuring accuracy of test data under non-rated conditions), and through a power amplifier, it can provide a three-phase precision AC test source. When measuring transformer capacity and short-circuit losses, there is no need for external three-phase test power supplies, voltage regulators, current boosters, or other auxiliary equipment, simplifying wiring and greatly improving work efficiency; the capacity test result accuracy reaches 100%. This device is equivalent to two devices: an active transformer capacity tester plus a transformer loss parameter tester. It can precisely measure a series of power frequency parameters such as capacity, no-load current, no-load loss, short-circuit loss, and impedance voltage for various transformers. Usage Instructions


Since the instrument has a built-in high-capacity lithium battery, to extend its service life, if the instrument is not used for a long time, it is recommended to discharge it once every two months and then fully charge it.

No display on startup: Turn off the power first, check if the fuse is blown, and replace the fuse if necessary.

Sudden black screen: Press the reset button to restart measurement.

Incorrect measurement and calculation results: Check external wiring, whether operating according to the manual, whether there is poor contact or wrong wiring; incorrect parameter settings.

For no-load test results with large fluctuations, please note that the test power supply should be separated from the power supply used by large power impact equipment such as workshop cranes.
