Variable Frequency Anti-Interference Dielectric Loss Tester
Darui Electric recommends:
The Variable Frequency Anti-Interference Dielectric Loss Tester is a high-precision instrument used for fully automatic measurement of the dielectric loss tangent and capacitance of various high-voltage power equipment at power plants, substations, and other field sites. The main power is generated by the internal inverter of the instrument, which is then boosted by a transformer for testing the test object.
Working Principle
Under the action of AC voltage, the dielectric consumes part of the electrical energy, which is converted into heat energy and causes loss. This energy loss is called dielectric loss. When AC voltage is applied to the dielectric, there is a phase angle difference ψ between the voltage and current in the dielectric. The complementary angle δ of ψ is called the dielectric loss angle, and the tangent of δ, tgδ, is called the dielectric loss tangent. The tgδ value is a parameter used to measure dielectric loss. The instrument's measurement circuit includes a standard circuit (Cn) and a test circuit (Cx), as shown in Figure 1. The standard circuit consists of a built-in high-stability standard capacitor and the measurement circuit, while the test circuit consists of the test object and the measurement circuit. The measurement circuit is composed of a sampling resistor, a preamplifier, and an A/D converter. Through the measurement circuit, the amplitudes and phase differences of the currents in the standard circuit and the test circuit are measured separately. Then, using digital signal processing with real-time digital acquisition methods, the capacitance value and dielectric loss tangent of the test object are obtained through vector operations.

Features
1. The instrument performs fault analysis.
2. Strong anti-interference capability, ensuring stable and reliable results even at substation sites with voltage levels of 500KV (or even higher). It supports not only single-frequency testing but also 45/55Hz dual-frequency testing.
3. The test voltage of the instrument adopts "slow rise and slow fall" to effectively prevent the "capacitive rise" effect, protecting the safety of the test object and the instrument.
4. The Variable Frequency Anti-Interference Dielectric Loss Tester implements pre-protection against overcurrent and overload, quickly cutting off the test power supply to protect the safety of the test object and the instrument.
5. The test cables of the instrument are made of silicone rubber and other special insulating materials, making them lightweight and flexible, and can be used on the ground at voltage levels up to 10KV.
6. The instrument comes with an electronic calendar and large storage capacity, capable of memorizing 100 sets of test data.
7. The instrument is equipped with a standard RS232 interface, allowing a large amount of test data to be uploaded to a large computer for use.
