The automatic intelligent DC resistance tester is an essential test item for transformers after handover, major repairs, and changing tap changers. Under normal circumstances, using traditional methods (bridge method and voltage drop method) to measure the DC resistance of transformer windings and high-power inductive equipment is a time-consuming and labor-intensive task. To change this situation, shorten measurement time, and reduce the workload of test personnel, a DC resistance fast tester has been developed. With a high-speed microcontroller as the core, built-in rechargeable battery and charging circuit, and adopting high-speed A/D converter and programmable current source technology, it achieves unprecedented measurement results and highly automated measurement functions.
Working Principle
This instrument has a DC constant current source inside. During measurement, the machine feeds a constant current to the test object, which generates a corresponding voltage drop on the measured body. This voltage value is taken back to the machine, amplified, sampled, and calculated to obtain the resistance value. (R=U/I)
