The fully automatic intelligent DC resistance tester is an essential test item after transformer handover, major repair, and tap changer changes. In general, using traditional methods (bridge method and voltage drop method) to measure the DC resistance of transformer windings and high-power inductive equipment is a time-consuming and labor-intensive task. To change this situation, shorten measurement time, and reduce the workload of testers, a DC resistance rapid tester has been developed. With a high-speed microcontroller at its core, built-in rechargeable battery and charging circuit, and adopting high-speed A/D converter and programmable current source technology, it achieves unprecedented measurement results and highly automated measurement functions.

Basic Information

Adopting microcontroller control, large-screen Chinese character LCD display, with print output function (and 232 interface). All eight gears of the instrument are software-calibrated, with accuracy up to 1/10,000. It can automatically shift gears. The machine is small in size, light in weight, low in power consumption, and the test data is stable and reliable. It is a high-precision replacement product for DC single and double-arm bridges. It is an ideal instrument for measuring DC resistance of various inductive loads such as power transformers, contact resistance of low-voltage switches, and resistance of wires, cables, or weld joints.

The DC resistance tester is a new generation of transformer DC resistance testing instruments. It can automatically select the test current according to different types of power transformers and display the test results at the fastest speed. The DC resistance tester also has functions such as storage, printing, and discharge indication. It has a built-in non-volatile memory that can store measurement data for a long time. The adoption of a liquid crystal display makes the instrument have a good human-machine interface, making it the preferred equipment in DC resistance testing work.
