Working Principle
The digital megohmmeter is composed of medium and large scale integrated circuits. This meter has high output power, high short-circuit current value, and multiple output voltage levels (four voltage levels). The working principle is that the internal battery serves as the power source, and the DC high voltage generated through DC/DC conversion goes from the E terminal through the tested object to the L terminal, thus generating a current from E to L. After I/V conversion and division operation, the measured insulation resistance value is directly displayed on the LCD.
Features of Megohmmeter
1. High output power, strong load capacity, and strong anti-interference capability.
2. The shell of this meter is made of high-strength aluminum alloy. Inside, an equipotential protection ring and a fourth-order active low-pass filter are installed, which can effectively shield against external power frequency and strong electromagnetic fields. For capacitive test objects, since the output short-circuit current is greater than 1.6mA, it is easy to quickly raise the test voltage to the rated value of the output voltage. For low-resistance measurements, due to the proportional method design, voltage drop does not affect the test accuracy.
3. No manual labor required, powered by battery, with automatic range conversion. The clear panel operation and LCD display make measurement very convenient and fast.
4. The output short-circuit current of this meter can be directly measured without estimation through load measurement.
